Seed Production

Serve-Ag has an earned reputation with over 20 years experience as a quality seed producer.  The production encompasses small seed vegetable production through to large-scale grass, legume, cereals and canola production.  The company works closely with leading national and international breeding organisations.  The production profile is from pre basic parent seed right through to certified seed production.

Due to Tasmania's unique climate and fertile soils, out of season seed production with the northern hemisphere provides opportunities for Tasmanian farmers.  With the current GM moratorium in place, Tasmania is viewed as an ideal location to produce seed that can truly claim the status of being GM free.
